sequin update six

Ha, the shirt has become too heavy to be hung with push pins.

It's so funny to think that I bought one bag of sequins and thought I would knock this shirt out in a night and wear it the next day.

...four bags of sequins and five weeks later, I've finished the straps. Fantastic.

Adventures in cooking

Last night I made pumpkin cupcakes with cinnamon cream cheese icing:

And I am SUCH a spaz! I completely failed at the grocery store and bought granulated sugar instead of powdered sugar for the icing. Needless to say, it was quite soupy.
So I did the logical next thing: No, not go back to the store... I called my mom and whined about it.
Long story short, she suggested adding in some flour to thicken and they turned out perfect and delicious.

I have no idea why I've become such a Suzie Homemaker in the last month, but I'm rolling with it. I decided while I'm on this kick I need to find a cute recipe book to write everything down.

ModCloth gloves

These gloves from ModCloth are adorable and decently priced. I just wish they came in a color other than red.

I'm not big on red for some reason. I know! I'm crazy. Actually I think I got in the habit of avoiding red clothes and accessories because when I wear them, my red hair looks more brown.

Interesting topic. Do you know any redheads that don't usually wear red?

I suppose I should get over it. Amy Adams pulls it off well:
