More fashion shows?

I wanted to limit myself to only covering NY fashion week so my brain wasn't overloaded for weeks on end. It's exhausting to pour over heart-stopping fashion and then open your own closet and wail that you don't own a tiered chiffon red carpet gown of your own. (My neighbors love me, I'm sure.)

But I'm a creature of no will-power and overindulgence, so I had to share a couple treasures I loved from Dolce and Gabbana Spring 2010.

So delicate!The bag is ok but the shoes! They are so different and chic! If they translate these to ready-to-wear and don't lose their luster, I will be blowing a pretty penny on them.

sigh sigh sigh.

Sequin update one (of many)

Well kids, here's the skinny. Last night I was leaving work and thought, hmmm I'm in a sequiny mood. Don't ask. I get cravings for clothing embellishments instead of foods.
So I crafted a fantastic plan in my mind to go to the fabric store, buy sequins, and sequin a tank top.
This is my progress after 3 HOURS:

3 HOURS! How?? Who knew it took so long to hand sew sequins???

So after speaking to a few naysayers (ahem... Brian) I decided I AM going to finish this top and I'm NOT going to give up. Dolls, it may take me until spring to finish (which would be convenient since it would be tank top weather...) but I'm going to finish this tank top!
