Keith: I'm sure you figured out by now that I have a talent for turning any spotlight back on me...what can I say, it's a gift. I've always introduced you to your past boyfriends, just so I can make a wedding toast.
me: what are you going to do if I marry someone you didn't introduce me to?!
Keith: don't worry, i have a backup plan...ready to hear this?

Keith: ok...what i'm going to do is become besties with whoever you pick and exactly 3 months before the wedding I will find someway to harmlessly make you think about cancelling the wedding...then once that is complete I will go to the guy and tell him to fix exactly the problem that he "created" and thereby effectively "saving" your wedding. Lastly, at the reception I will credit myself for making this special day happen and that without my help you two might never have made it down the aisle. People will chuckle, sip their champagne and toast me... then you

Fabosaurus

I finally picked up my gorgeous painting from the talented Miss Liz Martin this weekend and it's perfection. She somehow painted it to match my sofa pillows without even knowing what color they were.
I could just sit and stare at it forever.

My favorite book of all time, Pride and Prejudice, is coming out with a new fancy shmanchy cover and I kind of love it. Wouldn't this be great blown up and framed? Maybe I could get a bunch of the old covers as well and make a photo story?

Kittens! So sorry I fell off the face of the earth! (Is it bad that whenever I write the word "face" my fingers complete the thought with "book" even when I don't ask them too? Nasty social networking addiction.)

Anyway, I had a fever last week that wouldn't quit. And not in the sexy Burlesque dancer kind of way where Peggy Lee music starts pouring in and I start taking off my gloves with my teeth.

I was sick sick sick. I was voluntarily swallowed by a cocoon of blankets and soup and I spent way too many hours watching Mad Men.

I now must admit, I'm a little bit in love with Joan Holloway.You know I'm a sucker for redheaded vixens who charm your socks off. So of course I found my way to Modcloth.com and purchased this adorable dress.

It's even called "The Joan Dress." I mean how could I not?

I'm usually not a Fendi fan for the same reason I'm not big on Louis Vuitton or Coach. I need my bags to have a je ne sais quoi that goes beyond a repeating monogram. But, these Fendi's are fun enough for texture Tuesday.
