Is it just me or is it weird when people put personal messages in their email signatures? Here's a list of a few real "taglines" I got today:

"Save Trees. Think before you print."
Ok, this one is excusable. I guess I just never print emails so it's weird to me.

"time is a dressmaker specializing in alterations......"
WHAT does that even mean?

"A candle loses nothing by lighting another candle."
Are you my camp counselor from the summer between 5th and 6th grade? Please... teach me about sharing by making a birdfeeder out of pinecones.

"As always kiddo, I appreciate your help."
That's a pretty big assumption that I'm going to help you because you gave me a dumb nickname.

"Our company is ranked #6 in the 'Best Places to Work in Dallas-Fort Worth' by the Dallas Business Journal."
I feel like this is basically saying, "oooo you're gonna need some peanut butter because YOU ARE JELLY!"

Maybe I need a tagline.

"Beautiful and awesome for 24 (COUGH) 22 years"
or
"Kitten heels are for quitters"
or
"Don't send me emotional stories about puppies saving cancer children or whatever the F the forward of the day is, KTHXBYE"

So ok, I really like this Marc by Marc Jacobs dress:

But last time I fell for a Marc By dress, the dress looked much crappier in person than online. Should I give them a second chance? Should I open my heart to love again after it's been broken? Ha.

I also just fell for these Dior wedges: But I have a similar pair of Louboutins (or not apparently, because steffy says mine are purple not pink.) Should I spring for the flat version instead?

So sad it's over! It was more fun than I thought it would be actually. It also made me get more creative with dressing in the morning rather than falling back on go to outfits when I'm lazy. So here is the last piece: a betsey sweater dress I've been waiting to wear at the end.
We are going to be so bored in May!

Laziness births beauty?

I was v. intrigued when I saw this picture of boots. I wasn't sure what was going on but I thought I liked it. Especially since I have been searching for the perfect pair of slouchy boots.

But then I read the caption which I will basically paraphrase: "I got lazy and didn't want to zip up my boots so I tied them in a knot."

Hmmmm.

It's a very gloomy weather day here, but I'm in a good mood because I got to go shopping last night! Here are some of the goodies I picked up:

MARC by Marc Jacobs cute summer top. On sale and only in my size! O, and Bowpril!Theory dress- this looks A LOT better in person. The navy top part pops more and looks a lot less dull than on this model.O ya, turquoise jeans! At first I was pretty scared of these but a helping hand (thanks steff) made me try them on and I was really surprised how much I liked them. I also got a leopard cami that I can't find a picture of online.

O and by the way, this MARC dress:
